In February 2011, Benjamin’s Restaurant in Forest joined up with Darton Environmental(540-580-5344). Owned and operated locally by Tony Hubbard, this alternative energy corporation, collects our used cooking oil and uses it to make clean, renewable Bio-Fuels, in efforts to protect the environment. Their mission is to utilize waste vegetable oil for the production of BioDiesel as a clean, renewable, energy alternative, thereby reducing our dependency on foreign oil for fuel.
And beginning this month we are kicking off a brand new recycling procedure with Recycle Easy (www.recycleeasy.com) This locally run business provides curbside pick up of all of our disposable materials in one container.
We are pleased to be partnered with these companies and join in the on-going efforts
to Stay Green…
